A Heart’s Desire

He strolls along, a silhouette.

Black on grey, dark suit, black cloak.

Hood drawn, fingers tracing the air.

Feet meet cobbled ground, clicking of leather soles.

Overcast, buildings cast twisting shadows. Painted worlds beyond our own.

He crawls along the endless web, his sticky trap, it radiates from him.
